IJMCS
The International Journal of
Multidisciplinary Comparative Studies

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Multidisciplinary Comparative Studies (IJMCS) is a new academic multidisciplinary journal covering a range of humanities and social sciences subjects. The main objective of IJMCS is to provide an intellectual platform for international scholars. IJMCS aims to promote interdisciplinary studies in humanities and social science and become one of the leading journals in the area.  Because of its multi-disciplinary framework, it covers a large research community in an innovative public peer review process, thus accessing top-quality papers across disciplines. In addition, the regional coverage of the journal extends beyond one geographical region and this further enhances its reach in terms of attracting high-quality contributions. The journal will publish original research and papers that discuss, analyse or evaluate policies, or those that disclose relevant gaps in existing research.

IJMC aims to cover all the main areas of human sciences. Inevitably, articles in different areas of the human sciences are targeted at different audiences. As such, IJMC aims to attract high-quality articles from the fields of literacy, Linguistics and Language studies, Education, Sociology, Local Governance and ELT, corporate governance, criminology, cross-cultural studies, demography, development studies, philosophy, political science, population Studies, psychology, public administration, sociology, social welfare, and literature.  IJMCS recognises that these subject areas are often inter-related. This relationship furthers IJMCS’ goal to promote inter-disciplinary research across regions.

IJMCS is designed as an open access, peer-reviewed and refereed journal published an academic enterprise group co-hosted by The Literacy Research Development Centre of the University of Greenwich and the Middlesex University’s Institute for Work based Learning UK. IJMCS publishes original papers, review papers, conceptual framework, case studies, empirical research, technical notes, and book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics in humanities and social science will occasionally be published. IJMCS is published four times a year.
